Twins’ Slowey has surgery on right wrist (AP)
Minnesota Twins pitcher Kevin Slowey is out of surgery, and his right wrist is expected to be OK for spring training. Slowey had a bone chip removed Tuesday. His wrist will require two to four months of rehabilitation and recovery. The 25-year-old Slowey is 10-3. The Twins are in the middle of the AL Central race.
