Washington Nationals outfielder Nyjer Morgan is expected to miss the rest of the season after breaking a bone in his left hand while sliding headfirst into third base Thursday. Padilla beats Rockies in Dodgers debut (AP)
Vicente Padilla gave the Los Angeles Dodgers a shot in the arm and the Colorado Rockies a punch to the gut.
