Diamondbacks’ Upton put on disabled list (AP)
The Arizona Diamondbacks have placed outfielder Justin Upton on the 15-day disabled list due to a right oblique strain and purchased the contract of Trent Oeltjen to fill his roster spot. Upton pulled up attempting to steal a base during the eighth inning of Arizona's 4-3 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday night.
