Yankees romp to 9-2 win over Rangers (AP)
Jorge Posada hit a three-run homer, Andy Pettitte finally gave New York a quality pitching performance, and the free-swinging Yankees romped to a 9-2 victory over the Texas Rangers on Wednesday night. Derek Jeter and Mark Teixeira each drove in a pair of runs, and Jerry Hairston Jr. added a solo homer for the Yankees.
